Creative Director
Leading our team is Creative Director Heidi Darst. With over 17 years experience, Heidi began her career in the Public Relations Department of Brewton-Parker College (a 4-year Christian College nestled in the heart of Georgia) writing copy, taking photos for press releases, as well as developing and implementing marketing programs. She worked as a freelance and staff photographer/contributing reporter for the Lake Oconee Free Press, The Madisonian, The Vidalia Advance, and occasionally for other publications, online and print. Additionally, Heidi served as Program Director (responsible for directing marketing and public relations as well as coordinating/directing all major chamber events/programs) Toombs County Chamber of Commerce (Vidalia, GA), and Account Executive of Corporate and Government Accounts for Alltel's Savannah (GA)15-county region. Each position further developed Heidi's ability to relate to and understand the dynamics of organizational, media and community relations, both in retail and business to business sectors, and maximizing budget ROI. Heidi's community service gave her many opportunities to use and develop her public relations skills, including United Way team leader, Vidalia Tourism Council, regional golf tournaments. Particularly satisfying for Heidi was her role as Vice President of Public Relations for Altamaha Regional Organizing Committee ( AROC earned international attention for recruiting Greek and Uzbekistani Olympic teams to train in southeast Georgia for two summers prior to the 1996 Olympic Games).
With experience in for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, Heidi has provided promotional materials production and services for a wide spectrum events from youth retreats to a national rodeo circuit. From coordinating a gubernatorial debate to serving on annual benefit committees, conducting focus groups to one-on-one surveys, Heidi’s experience in media and community relations is extensive. Her work maintains the integrity of client's image and purpose while bringing diverse clientele, with the majority of new clients being referrals from satisfied clients.
